Community members invited to Oral Health Screening Event

Carteret, NJ: UNITED SIKHS invites all community members to the Oral Health Screening Event on April 7, 2013 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at Gurdwara Dashmesh Darbar in Carteret, NJ. The event is part of the Sikh American Families Oral Health Prevention Program supported by the Dentaquest Foundation's National Community Committee Oral Health Initiative.

Services provided will include Oral Health screening, Blood Glucose screening, Blood Pressure screening, Body Mass Index and information on oral hygiene for families.

Supporting agencies and providers, who are generously volunteering their time in service of the community, include members of NYU College of Dentistry, NYU Medical Center, NYU Prevention Research Center, Individual Practitioners and UNITED SIKHS volunteers.

We are looking for volunteers to assist us in this important community service. If you would like to volunteer please fill out the volunteer form.
