The GurKirpa Health Network Hospital

Our work aims to impact and transform the lives of more than 40,000 people who are impacted by the drug and alcohol problem within 26 villages. Drug dependents do not only require therapy and medical and spiritual healing, but support even after their treatment is complete. We value the care of our patients and we will ensure they are able to integrate back into society, as well as help them acquire new vocational skills and employment.

To expand its services, the GurKirpa Health Network Hospital requires the following items:

-Monthly ambulance funding: USD 152--228.50/month

-Security Cameras: USD 1,152.08

-A full-time MBBS doctor: USD 1,066.29 +/month

Gurbani tells us,

"One person brings a full bottle, and another fills his cup.Drinking the wine, his intelligence departs, and madness enters his mind; he cannot distinguish between his own and others, and he is struck down by his Lord and Master. Drinking it, he forgets his Lord and Master, and he is punished in the Court of the Lord. Do not drink the false wine at all, if it is in your power. O Nanak, the True Guru comes and meets the mortal; by His Grace, one obtains the True Wine. He shall dwell forever in the Love of the Lord Master, and obtain a seat in the Mansion of His Presence."
(Guru Granth Sahib Ji, p.554)

UNITED SIKHS strives to help the youth of Panjab realize this message, and help them live their lives according to the Guru's will.

In addition to the hospital, the GurKirpa Health Network has conducted 7 medical camps in remote villages, where villagers received free medical care.

The land of our forefathers is in dire need of your help. With 73.5% of Panjabi youth not only drug users but addicted to drugs, drug addiction is the most pressing issue in the state today. And unfortunately, the problem is not short-term. With the majority of youth addicted to drugs instead of excelling in their studies and establishing their careers, the Panjabi community is deprived of its next generation of doctors, lawyers, religious leaders, and politicians. Every youth addicted to drugs represents the continuation of the disenfranchisement and oppression of our community.Without our youth, we have no hope for a brighter future. Whether we are residents of Panjab, or carry Panjab in our hearts from abroad, it is up to us to take a stand against this epidemic.Donate today to save and preserve our youth for generations to come.
