Bikramjit Singh is the President of Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara. He is currently working towards finishing his university degree at Simon Fraser University with a major in Criminology and minor in Psychology. I am also an Insurance and Mutual Fund Broker and President of Roadways Insurance Corporation. His short term goal as a sevadaar of Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara is to reach out to the entire community to ensure that everyone has a voice in the future of one of North America’s largest Sikh institutions. His long term goal is to see the establishment of programs and services focused on the youth. We thank him and everyone at the Gurdwara for their participation and invaluable contributions to this conference.

Kamal Dhillon

Kamal Dhillon is an author, inspirational speaker, Domestic Violence counselor, and survivor of Domestic Violence. She has selflessly accepted her purpose in life to educate and empower nations to end abuse. Her mission is to make every nation and tongue understand that abuse is not a 5-letter, single act word, but rather it has many sub-categories underneath it, like emotional, mental, physical and on and on. Kamal's book tells about her experiences of being abused. She has candidly detailed these numerous accounts of abuse in a breakthrough Autobiography titled “Black & Blue Sari,” a story of abuse, torture, forgiveness and freedom. Kamal has spoken internationally about the importance of recognizing, preventing and ending abuse.
