Restoring Livelihoods: UNITED SIKHS Leads in Rebuilding Flood-Ravaged Pir Baba Bazar, Buner

Due to the recent floods, significant damage has been reported in Pir Baba Bazar, District Buner. The floods caused severe destruction to local shops, resulting in the complete loss of inventory for multiple shopkeepers.
UNITED SIKHS has launched emergency relief operations to support shopkeepers whose livelihoods were devastated and conducted an on-site assessment, meeting with affected families, community leaders, including members of the local Sikh community to document the widespread damages.
According to Roshan Singh, a representative of the affected community, 39 shops owned by Sikhs in Pir Baba Bazar, Buner have lost entire inventory and merchandise, resulting in extensive material damage.
Roshan Singh has appealed to UNITED SIKHS for urgent financial compensation to support the victims in recovering their losses and rebuilding their businesses. The incident has had a devastating effect on the local economy and the livelihoods of those affected.
In response, UNITED SIKHS is actively evaluating the scope of assistance required–including financial compensation, business recovery grants, and long-term rehabilitation strategies. UNITED SIKHS stands in solidarity with the affected families and is committed to delivering aid that honors their dignity and restores hope.
