Community Health and Wellness
UNITED SIKHS hosts blood drives, Hepatitis B screenings, and health workshops to support the well-being of our community. Through these events, participants can access important preventive services, such as checking blood pressure, learning about diabetes management, and understanding other key health topics. Our workshops are designed to be informative, culturally relevant, and interactive, empowering community members to take charge of their health while connecting them with free or low-cost services and resources. By providing these programs, we aim to promote healthier lifestyles and build stronger, healthier communities.

In addition to screenings, our health workshops cover topics such as nutrition, exercise, stress management, and chronic disease prevention. We collaborate with trained healthcare professionals who offer guidance and answer questions in a supportive environment. Participants also learn about available city services, health insurance options, and community resources to help them access ongoing care. By offering these programs in accessible and familiar community locations, we reduce barriers to participation and ensure that even hard-to-reach populations can benefit. Through consistent engagement, we foster trust, encourage preventive care, and help community members make informed decisions about their health. These initiatives not only improve individual well-being but also strengthen overall community health and resilience.
