Harmeet Kaur Dhillon’s journey from her roots in Chandigarh, India, to her prominent role in American law and politics is an inspiring story of perseverance and achievement. She attended Dartmouth College, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and was the first woman to serve as editor of the Dartmouth Review. Later she went on to earn her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Virginia School of Law.
Dhillon began her legal career working as a clerk for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and in the Justice Department’s Civil Division’s Constitutional Torts Section. She worked at the prestigious law firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher before founding her own firm, the Dhillon Law Group, in San Francisco in 2006. Her practice focuses on civil rights litigation, employment law, defamation cases, and business disputes.
Her work has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to justice, from challenging social media censorship to defending religious freedoms during the COVID-19 pandemic.
