September 17, 2025
In response to the devastating floods that submerged Tehsil Athara Hazari, where waters rose up to 12 feet and displaced over 387,000 people, UNITED SIKHS has mobilized emergency food relief for families in Jabwana, Rashid Pur, and surrounding villages. Over 1,000 survivors received freshly cooked meals, including rice, pulses, roti/naan, and mineral water, delivered with care and urgency by our field teams.

The September 2025 floods, triggered by dangerously high levels in the Chenab River, left 37 villages severely impacted, with homes, livestock, and livelihoods swept away. Entire communities are now navigating displacement, disease risk, and food insecurity.

As communities continue to recover, UNITED SIKHS urgently calls for support to meet critical needs, including:
- Mosquito nets to prevent malaria and dengue outbreaks
- Medical aid and mobile health services
- Food ration packages for families without access to kitchens or income • Fodder and feed for over 60,000 animals, essential to rural survival
Your donation can help us deliver life-saving aid, restore dignity, and rebuild hope.
UNITED SIKHS stands in unwavering solidarity with the people of Punjab – ensuring food security, clean water, and compassionate care for those who need it most.
