ICHRA Civil Rights Survey 2023
UNITED SIKHS is conducting a survey to gauge how many Sikhs in our community are actually reporting their victimization, whether a hate crime, bullying in schools, profiling (by airport TSA officials or otherwise), or employment discrimination. Please click here to take our short anonymous survey to help us better serve and represent you going forth.
Have you ever been a victim due to your Sikh identity? Have you ever faced harassment for wearing your articles of faith? Have you ever been told to “go back to your country”? Has your child been a victim of bullying due to their patka or kesh? Has your employer treated you differently due to your religious identity?
Please take our quick survey so we may better serve the Sikh community and assure no one is deprived of an opportunity to report incidents against them or their loved ones devoid of a fair chance for justice.
UNITED SIKHS will distribute the UNITED SIKHS 2023 CIVIL RIGHTS SURVEY via email, Facebook, Twitter, and via other social media and in the gurdwaras. The Survey’s purpose is to guide the work of the International Civil & Human Rights Advocacy (ICHRA) staff.
The UNITED SIKHS 2023 CIVIL RIGHTS SURVEY will shed light on the extent to which members of the Sikh community experience hate crimes and or bullying. It will serve as a manifesto of the issues the Sikh community believes will be most pressing in 2023. The manifesto will serve to focus on our vision, help create its priorities and provide direction.
Your participation in the 2023 Civil Rights Survey will help accomplish important goals in 2023.
Empower yourself and your children!
