Ms. Mann’s journey with UNITED SIKHS began many years ago, in the early 2000’s, and she gained national attention in the UK in 2008 when UNITED SIKHS-International launched the Helpdesk Surgery at Sri Guru Singh Sabha Southall, Park Avenue. The Helpdesk now operates as UNITED HUMANITARIAN SIKH AID, and still this vital service continues to provide guidance on complex legal, immigration, and welfare issues under her management. Her compassionate approach and tireless dedication have earned her deep respect from both local communities and national institutions.
Among her many achievements, Ms. Mann played a pivotal role in a highly sensitive case involving the repatriation of a murdered International Indian student. Coordinating efforts between UK and Indian government bodies, NGOs, and law enforcement agencies, she ensured the process was handled with dignity, precision, and care. From the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic up until now, she has assisted in the repatriation of over 30 deceased individuals to India, bringing comfort and closure to grieving families.
Her exceptional contributions were recognised in July 2025 by Bhai Sahib Gajinder Singh Ji and the Khalsa Diwan Afghanistan, who honoured her for her unwavering commitment to justice and community service. She also received a Certificate of Honorary Membership from the Khalsa Diwan Afghanistan for her continued dedication to humanitarian causes.

Acknowledging the collaborative nature of this work, Ms. Mann ensured that the New Scotland Yard officers were also honored, recognizing the shared effort and formally acknowledging their vital contribution to securing justice in the murder case.

In 2015, Ms. Mann was awarded the British Empire Medal (BEM) as part of the Queen’s Honours for her outstanding charitable work benefiting both local and national communities.
