KERRVILLE, TX – In response to the devastating floods impacting Kerr County and neighboring communities across Central Texas, UNITED SIKHS, a UN-affiliated international humanitarian nonprofit, has launched emergency disaster relief operations to serve the affected communities.

This week, the organization’s Disaster Response Team composed of trained first responders and dedicated volunteers is carrying out disaster relief efforts to begin distributing critical aid – including non-perishable food, bottled water, infant formula, hygiene kits, clothing, and over-the-counter medicines. Teams are also actively assisting with evacuations, coordinating emergency shelters, and providing trauma support to displaced families.

“This is not just a natural disaster – it’s a human crisis,” said Moninder Singh, Disaster Relief Coordinator for UNITED SIKHS“Families displaced, children in need, communities still struggling – we are here to serve. But we can’t do it alone. Your support makes a big difference.”
