• – With the beginning of 2014, UNITED SIKHS is humbled to receive the partner award for our Hurricane Sandy Relief Efforts from New York Disaster Interfaith Services (NYDIS).
• – We couldn’t do it without the support of our local Sikh institutions, supporters, volunteers and donors- Thank You so much! We share this honor with you.

New York, NY- On January 9th, UNITED SIKHS was honored with the Superstorm Sandy Response Partner Award from New York Disaster Interfaith Services. NYDIS board decided to honor us for our partnership during NYDIS’ relief and response efforts. UNITED SIKHS disaster response team was on the ground from the day of disaster and has touched thousands of impacted lives by providing the necessary relief and support.
“We would like to once again thank all gurdwaras, our volunteers, supporters and donors for all of their assistance in our relief work because if it wasn’t for our combined efforts, we would not have received this honor. We will use this recognition as motivation to continue our dedication to assisting others in whatever way possible this year,” shared Jatinder Singh, Associate Director of UNITED SIKHS.
