UNITED SIKHS Hosts Free Medical Camp at Gurdwara Sri Janam Asthan, Nankana Sahib on Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s Parkash Utsav (Gurpurab)

On the auspicious occasion of Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s Parkash Utsav (Gurpurab), UNITED SIKHS organized a One-Day Free Medical Camp at Gurdwara Sri Janam Asthan, Nankana Sahib, delivering vital healthcare services to more than 400 patients and reaffirming its commitment to Seva (selfless service) and community well-being.

This Camp reflected the teachings of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, emphasizing compassion, equality, and service to humanity. They reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to supporting vulnerable communities through health, humanitarian, and disaster relief efforts.
A team of specialized doctors and surgeons provided comprehensive care, including:
• General Medicine
• Gynecology
• ENT Services
• Pediatrics
• Ultrasound
• Audiometry (Hearing Tests)
Patients benefited from both preventive screenings and immediate treatments, with doctors and surgeons volunteering their expertise to address pressing health concerns. The camp not only met urgent medical needs but also underscored the importance of accessible healthcare in underserved communities. Dr. Mimpal Singh, Consultant Pediatrician & Neonatologist, joined fellow doctors in commending UNITED SIKHS for the initiative, recognizing it as a significant act of Seva that strengthens community health. “This medical camp is a shining example of how collectiveservice can uplift communities and ensure access to essential healthcare,” said Dr. Singh.

On this occasion the Devotees and local residents also appreciated the initiative and expressed gratitude for the timely medical assistance provided on this auspicious occasion. By hosting the camp at Gurdwara Sri Janam Asthan, Nankana Sahib, a site of deep spiritual significance, UNITED SIKHS highlighted the inseparable bond between faith and service.
