UNITED SIKHS and the REACH FAR team would like to invite you to a Community Event on Hypertension in the Sikh Community on September 18, 2016 at Gurdwara Dashmesh Darbar, Carteret, NJ. |
Hypertension is highly prevalent among the Asian Indian community, and many Sikh Americans are either diagnosed with hypertension or are at risk to develop hypertension. Join us for a community event with our partners for blood pressure screenings, information on hypertension prevention and management, and a report on data collected on the Sikh Community. |
Screenings and Outreach begin at 11:00 am, and the data presentation begins at 2:00 pm. |
Project REACH FAR is partnering with local community-based organizations, gurdwaras, restaurants, grocery stores, and health providers and pharmacists to fight high blood pressure and cardiovascular disease in Sikh Indian and other Asian American communities in New York and New Jersey. Please see attached flyers in English and Punjabi and please feel free to contact me for any questions or concerns. |
We look forward to seeing you there! |
Please watch our videos at UNITEDSIKHSTV and follow us our social media Facebook | Twitter | Blog and see how your contribution is making a difference. |
