UNITED SIKHS Members Join Forces with Peel Regional Police and Distinguished Guests at South Asian Collective Gala Night

Members of UNITED SIKHS took part in the South Asian Collective Gala Night organized by Peel Regional Police’s South Asian Collective (SAC), held in Brampton. It provided a platform for meaningful interactions, fostering collaboration between community leaders, government representatives, and law enforcement.
UNITED SIKHS Canada Director of Operations Gurbir Singh and Legal Director Prabh Singh, representing UNITED SIKHS actively engaged with attendees. The event facilitated connections with notable figures, including members of the Caledon town council, Mario Russo, Mississauga councilor Martin Reid, representatives from the Ontario government, Sai Dham Food Bank, Seva Food Bank, Punjabi Community Health Services, Brampton councilor Gurpartap Toor, and other prominent community members.
The gathering served as an opportunity for open dialogue and collaboration between community organizations, governmental bodies, and law enforcement. The presence of staff sergeant Rob Brown of the London Police added a valuable perspective to the discussions.
The event showcased the collective strength and diversity of the South Asian community. It underscored the importance of ongoing dialogue and collaboration to address the needs and concerns of the community
