7.8‑Magnitude Earthquake Devastates Southern Philippines — UNITED SIKHS Calls for Prayer and Solidarity
UNITED SIKHS condoles and stands in solidarity with the people of the Philippines following the devastating 7.8 earthquake that hit the southern part of the country in the morning of June 8, 2026. This earthquake, recorded in the island to be the strongest in the last fifty years, has claimed lives, displaced families, and destroyed communities.
Our teams are currently coordinating with local partners and relief agencies to assess urgent needs. We urgently call on our global community to support this response. Your donation will help provide essential assistance to families affected by this disaster, including emergency supplies, humanitarian aid, and recovery support.

Alongside families who have lost loved ones, UNITED SIKHS extends prayers for healing to the injured. In the face of collapsed homes, disrupted livelihoods, and widespread suffering, UNITED SIKHS reaffirms its commitment to mobilize humanitarian aid and long-term recovery support.
This tragedy reminds us that humanity knows no borders. We urge the international community, donors, and partners to come forward in solidarity with the Philippines. Every act of compassion, whether through financial support, volunteer service, or advocacy, strengthens the collective response to rebuild lives and restore dignity of communities shaken by fear and trauma.
