NEW YORK – UNITED SIKHS is partnering with the New York City Mayor’s Office of Community Affairs and the Sikh Cultural Society, Inc to host a the Thive NYC forum on mental health on Thursday 1st September 2016. The Deputy Mayor for Strategic Policy Initiatives Richard Buery will lead a panel discussion on Thrive NYC, the City’s mental health roadmap for all. |
More than 80,000 Sikhs are estimated to live in New York City today, with the largest and most rapidly growing community residing in Richmond Hill, where the event will be held. |
