UNITED SIKHS Stands in Solidarity with Colombia After Devastating Earthquake

New York, U.S.A. | August 13, 2026

UNITED SIKHS, a UN-affiliated international humanitarian organization, expresses its deepest condolences and solidarity with the people of Colombia following the August 10, 2026 catastrophic 7.4 magnitude earthquake that has shaken communities across the nation. The tragedy has claimed lives and many others are missing in the rubble while families were displaced, and left countless individuals facing unimaginable hardship. The Columbian Geological Services reported this as the strongest earthquake recorded in Columbia, at least in the last decade.

We grieve alongside families who have lost loved ones and extend heartfelt prayers for healing to the injured. In the face of collapsed homes, disrupted livelihoods, and widespread suffering, UNITED SIKHS reaffirms its commitment to stand with the Colombian people during this time of profound loss.

This disaster is a reminder that humanity knows no borders. UNITED SIKHS urges the international community, governments, and humanitarian partners to ensure that aid promptly reaches those most in need. Every act of solidarity whether through financial support, volunteer service, or advocacy, strengthens the collective response to rebuild lives and restore dignity.
